About King's Quarters

Warm, spacious, and beautifully decorated, the King’s Quarters is the perfect place for contractor respite, a much-needed family getaway, or as a welcoming place to rest your weary head during your group business trip. The King’s Quarters is a stunning, large three-floor semi-detached house and offers a little slice of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Set against the winding streets of the peaceful town of Huntingdon, the King’s Quarters is situated in the quiet district of Sapley, surrounded by an abundance of green spaces whilst still being in close proximity to a variety of amenities, with easy access to the main town of Huntingdon by car, bike or foot.

King’s Quarters features a spacious open-plan dining room and kitchen, perfect for gatherings of family and friends! The kitchen is fully fitted with all the necessary amenities to allow guests to create delicious home-cooked meals.

The dining room adjacent to the open kitchen is a brilliant space to entertain and spend time with family and friends. In addition to eating, drinking, and entertaining, guests can also open the back door from the open plan dining room into the private garden to keep an eye on any boisterous little ones or to let in some sunshine rays.

Just off of the kitchen is a little archway that opens to a utility room. The utility room offers guests the use of the washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for long stays, or if you get a little bit muddy and messy on your fun days out!

The Living Room

The living room at King’s Quarters is situated on the ground floor, adjacent to the open plan dining room and kitchen, allowing for a flow of conversation between both rooms. It is a large space ideal for groups of friends or a large family to relax in the evenings after a busy day!

The room is flooded with light from two windows and beautifully decorated with original artwork by local artists. If you want to gather for a popcorn and movie night after a tiring day, our large corner sofa is a great area to congregate for a cuddle!

The Bedrooms

King’s Quarters sleeps up to eight guests in four beautifully decorated bedrooms in the property all with king-size beds that can be split into two – perfect for all sorts of sleeping positions!

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one main double and one regular double. The main double features a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite shower room. On the top floor, there are a further two light-flooded double bedrooms with wardrobe and shelving space for all of your important clothes and belongings!

The Bathrooms

King’s Quarters offers four bathrooms, one WC on the top floor, one ensuite shower room on the first floor, one main bathroom on the first floor, and one WC on the ground floor.

The main bathroom on the first floor boasts a large shower/bath allowing you to rinse off the stress, or to relax amongst the bubbles after a busy day. The top floor WC is ideal to be shared between the two top floor double bedrooms for a quick dash during the night! The main bedroom has its own ensuite shower room which you can use without being disturbed (we recommend this room for exhausted parents)!

The sizeable and light-flooded house is situated in a superb location, being only an 8-minute drive or 30-minute walk from the centre of Huntingdon, a 20-minute drive to the charming town of St Neots, and a 40-minute drive to the historic cities of Ely in the east and Cambridge in the south-east.

The house itself is within walking distance to various amenities including a large Tesco Extra supermarket, a leisure park with a cinema and delicious restaurants for takeaway or eat-in, as well as home-improvement stores and a large garden centre. When you stay at the King’s Quarters, you will also be in close proximity to the centre of Huntingdon where there is an array of well-known shops, local restaurants, and cafés as well as a beautiful park adjacent to the peaceful River Great Ouse.

The stunning accommodation is also within close proximity to the mainline railway station of Huntingdon, allowing you to reach a variety of fantastic destinations in only a small matter of time!

The Towerfields Leisure Park is only a short walk away from our King’s Quarters accommodation and is a fantastic place to spend the evening, enjoying a blockbuster film followed by a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants in the park!

The leisure park offers a large Cineworld cinema and six restaurants including Bella Italia, for Italian cuisine, Nandos for peri-peri chicken favourites, Chi for a new venture into Asian cuisine, trusty McDonald’s, and KFC, as well as a new restaurant Dough&Co, which offers mouthwatering stonebaked pizzas.

Towerfields is a favourite among locals and is the perfect place to relax with family and friends at the end of a stressful day!

Brampton Golf Club

The Brampton Golf Club course is set in 130 acres of lush woodland and parkland with rivers and lakes and offers a beautiful setting for your golfing day out. The course has 18 challenging holes, suitable for all abilities and the club also offers a 280-yard driving range, and a chipping and putting green to practise your swing before heading out to the course.

A fantastic day out for guests of all ages is a visit to the Raptor Foundation in Huntingdon. The Raptor Foundation is a phenomenal charity dedicated to the care and conservation of a wide variety of birds of prey.

“At the Raptor Foundations, our aims have always been, firstly to rescue, rehabilitate and return injured birds of prey back to the wild and secondly to protect and preserve them through education and conservation.
